NERVOUS SYSTEM RESET · LAGUNA NIGUEL
There’s one system most people never think to check.

If you’re doing many of the right things but still feel tense, depleted, poorly recovered or simply not quite like yourself, we look beyond symptoms alone—evaluating spinal function, muscular patterns and nervous-system adaptability to build a more personalized path forward.
You already know something
isn’t quite right.
You’re doing many of the right things — staying active, eating well and taking care of yourself — but you still don’t feel quite like yourself.
You may feel tense by the afternoon, slower to recover, poorly rested, mentally foggy or more depleted after stressful weeks than you used to.
And when everything looks “fine,” it can be frustrating not knowing why you don’t feel as resilient as you expect to feel.
What if there is another part of the picture that hasn’t been evaluated yet?

ONE SYSTEM · MANY SIGNALS
These may feel like separate problems.
THE SYSTEM UNDERNEATH IT ALL
Nervous System
Your nervous system coordinates how your body responds, adapts and recovers.
Fatigue — Energy & Stamina
Tension — Stress Response
Recovery — Rest & Repair
Focus — Clarity & Drive
Persistent Pain — Protection Patterns
Different signals. One system worth evaluating as a whole.
HOW WE SEE IT
An advanced evaluation that makes
important patterns easier to see.
Your first visit looks beyond symptoms alone. We combine a detailed spinal and postural assessment with noninvasive digital measurements that help us better understand patterns of muscular activity, temperature regulation and nervous-system adaptability. These measurements are pieces of the overall evaluation — not stand-alone diagnoses.

SCAN ONE · SURFACE EMG
The Tension Scan
Surface EMG measures patterns of muscle activity along the spine. It helps us see where muscles may be working harder, guarding or compensating.
It helps reveal patterns of muscular tension you may not be aware of.

SCAN TWO · THERMAL SCANNING
The Regulation Scan
Thermal scanning measures skin-temperature patterns along the spine and gives us another objective way to look at consistency and change over time.
It adds another piece to the nervous-system picture.

SCAN THREE · HEART RATE VARIABILITY
The Adaptability Scan
Heart rate variability looks at beat-to-beat variation in heart rhythm to help us understand how your autonomic nervous system is responding to stress and recovery demands.
It gives us a window into adaptability and recovery.
TOGETHER, A CLEARER BASELINE
Three different measurements.
One more complete picture we can follow over time.
A PATIENT’S EXPERIENCE
“Upon a comprehensive scan and analysis I quickly realized the effects of so many past instances which affect my mind, spine and overall wellness. They helped me realize so much more about the nervous system, my body, and where the aches were coming from.”
Alayne Cortes · Waddell Wellness Patient
SEEING IT IS STEP ONE
Seeing the pattern is the start. What comes next is personal.
The scans and examination help us see patterns. But seeing a pattern doesn’t change it. The next step is deciding what those findings mean for you—your spine, your nervous system, your goals, and how you’re functioning day to day.
The goal isn’t to chase a score. It’s to use what we learn to guide more precise, individualized care.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
This isn’t another protocol. It’s care built around what we find.
Your evaluation gives us context—what deserves attention,
which approach fits you best, and what we should reassess over time.
Pain is important—but it’s only one signal.
Pain is only one kind of information your nervous system processes. It tells us something important, but it doesn’t give us the whole picture of how you’re moving, how your muscles are responding, or how your system is adapting to stress and recovery.
A Symptom-Focused Approach
Responds primarily to the immediate complaint
Often relies heavily on how you feel that day
Care may look similar from visit to visit
Your Waddell Wellness Plan
Starts with a broader spinal and nervous-system evaluation
Uses your findings to select the most appropriate approach
Reassesses function and measurable patterns over time
WHAT PATIENTS NOTICE
What patients often describe as care progresses.
Different patients notice different changes. The common thread is feeling and functioning better in everyday life.
Better Sleep
Some patients describe sleeping more soundly or experiencing meaningful improvements in how well they rest.
“Much better sleep.”
— Dean Avery
More Energy
Some patients describe sleeping more soundly or experiencing meaningful improvements in how well they rest.
“My body moves with much more ease
and my energy has increased greatly.”
— Lindsey VandenBerg
Less Tension, Easier Movement
Patients report less tension and stiffness along with easier movement, improved flexibility or greater ability to stay active.
“No more tension or knots in my upper back.”
— Amanda Sneed
More Like Yourself
Some patients describe a broader change—feeling healthier, clearer, stronger or simply more like themselves again.
“I just feel like a healthier version of myself.”
— Kathleen Collier

A PATIENT’S EXPERIENCE
“Yes, my back feels better—but that’s the smallest part of the story. I’m sleeping better than I have in years. My jaw pain is gone. My hip pain is gone. I have more energy, I move better, and I just feel like a healthier version of myself.”
Kathleen Collier · Waddell Wellness Patient
IS THIS FOR YOU?
You don’t have to be in significant pain to know something feels off.
Sometimes the first sign isn’t pain. It’s feeling more tense, less rested, slower to recover, or simply not as resilient as you expect to feel.
Tense or On Edge
Your body seems to stay “on” even when you’re trying to relax.
Poorly Rested
You sleep, but don’t feel as restored as you expect.
Slower to Recover
Exercise, travel or stressful weeks take more out of you than they used to.
Low Energy
You feel more depleted than expected despite taking care of yourself.
Foggy or Less Focused
You don’t feel as sharp or clear as usual.
Something Just Feels Off
Everything may look fine on paper, but you know you’re not functioning at your best.
If several of these sound familiar, it may be worth taking a closer look at how your system is functioning.

PATIENT STORY
A More Precise Approach Made All the Difference
Kelly Smith
Kelly came to Waddell Wellness after previous chiropractic care had not provided the results she was looking for. She describes dealing with neck pain, occasional headaches and low energy, and says she was immediately impressed by the advanced technology and thorough approach used to evaluate her.
“Every time they do an adjustment, I feel like the lights have come on. It’s not just my energy level—I feel more focused and more coherent.”
